lol! almeda’s stay was.. circa 1950?
The only accommodations here were slated for demolition this week. As of of yesterday, 4/28 the Biltmore was still standing, and rumor has it that the builder, EKN didn’t get any of the permits it need to begin work.

LOCALS HAVE A RIGHT TO KNOW ABOUT ANY PROJECT DELAYS -> AND WHAT’S CAUSING THEM!
Did EKN not realize it needed permits, AS WELL AS COUNTY APPROVAL?

I’m a Crystal Bay homeowner. I am now surrounded by 3 boarded up hotels, and 1 concrete parking tower, that’s never been used to even half capacity! SHAME ON WASHOE COUNTY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS!

NB- EKN got approved to dig a 3 level underground parking structure- meanwhile, THERES AN ABOVE GROUND PARKING STRUCTURE RIGHT ACROSS THE STREET- that’s never used.. it’s mind boggling!
